Mapping Morris Library
By using only grey toned prisma markers, we were asked to create a collage of famous pieces of architecture of our choosing. After utilizing Photoshop to create the image, it was transferred to a 24 x 36 board using only markers through line, light and shadows to portray the forms of the architecture.
Architecture Montage
To gain practice in hand drawing. The assignment was to explore Morris Library on SIUC’s campus and taking photographs of spaces that were appealing. Then after narrowing the photos down to a few, they were transferred to a 24 x 36 paper through hand drawings, only using shadows and contrast to complete the forms.
