This project was to design and build a custom made Steltman chair, originally designed by Gerrit Rietveld. Any changes were able to be made as long as it still resembled the original.
A dining room table design that represents an assigned word; this table represents the word 'hedonist'. Along with the model of the table were two concept boards.
Touch of Nature hired SIUC’s sophomore woods class to design and build benching and signage for their hiking trail. Teamwork was a major part of this assignment, there was a group of nine students working together to complete this.
This project was to explore three dimensional forms and the space inside of them. The goal was to design a cube that incorporated the interior space as well as the shell.
This was a hand painting project with the intention of studying color theory. By using the Fibonacci sequence, we were required to create a repeating pattern that would be divided into five equal parts.
